Ministry Information

FCPS is a non-profit, 501(C)(3) organization that is supported solely by organizations, individuals and churches. We do not accept any Federal money, if we did, we would not be able to pray with our clients. We could not function in this capacity! We pray every day that God will use us as His tools, that our clients will feel the difference the moment she opens our door. We truly believe each girl that enters is a divine appointment from God. We believe God is using us to offer her hope and possibilities.

Mission Statement

First Choice Pregnancy Services is a Christian mission reaching out and providing life-affirming support to women vulnerable to abortion.

We believe:

In one triune God (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; John 14:26, 15:26, 17:21-23):

In God the Father Almighty (2 Cor 6:18), Creator of heaven and earth (Gen 14:19).

In Jesus Christ our Lord (Phil 2:11), the only Son of God (John 1:18). Conceived by the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary & became man (Matt 1:18). For our sake, He was crucified (John 19:16,18), suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day in fulfillment of the Scriptures (1 Cor 15:3-4). He ascended into heaven (Luke 24:51) and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Col 3:1). Jesus shall come again in glory to judge the living and the dead (2 Tim 4:1). His Kingdom will have no end (John 3:16). Jesus Christ is the one Mediator between God and the human race (1 Tim 2:5) and alone is our Redeemer (Isaiah 48:17; Psalm 49:7-8; Mark 10:45; 1 Tim 2:6; Matt 20:28, 26:28; John 1:29, 3:16-17; Col 1:19-23; Titus 2:13-14).

In the Holy Spirit (John 4:24), the Lord (2 Cor 3:17-18) and giver of life (John 6:63). The Holy Spirit has spoken through the prophets (Isaiah 61:1) and guides until the end of time (John 14:16-17).

Through His infinite mercy, God offers us salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (Mark 16:16, Titus 3:5-7, Heb 11:6, Eph 2:8-10). Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen (Heb 11:1). Repentance (Acts 2:38-39, 17:30), obedience to His commands (John 14:15,21) and good works (James 2:24,26) are manifestations of faith.

That all Scripture is God-breathed (2 Tim 3:16-17; 1 Pet 1:25; 2 Pet 1:20-21).

That God created man in His image, male and female He created them, to be fruitful and multiply, filling and subduing the earth (Gen 1:27-28).

That the people of God, the Church (1 Cor 12:13; Matt 28:19-20; Eph 2:19-22), are to keep God’s commandments (Deut 10:12-13; John 14:15,21,23-24; 1 John 2:3-5; Eph 4:22-24), pray for one another (1 Tim 2:1-4; Rom 15:30; Col 1:9-10; James 5:16) and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matt 4:19, 28:19-20). In working together to strengthen the people of God, so that all may be one and thus help convince the world that Jesus Christ was sent by the Father Almighty (John 17:21).

In one baptism (Eph 4:5) for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38, 22:16), in the resurrection of the dead (1 Thes 4:14) and in the life of the world to come (2 Pet 3:13). That children are a gift of God (Psalm 127:3), human life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13-16; Jer 1:5; Isaiah 44:24) also known as fertilization, all humans are created with the right to life (Exodus 20:13) and we are called to aid the least among us (Matt 25:40; Luke 9:48).

All services are provided with this basis:

Children are a gift of God (Psalm 127:3), human life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13-16, Jer 1:5, Isaiah 44:24) also known as fertilization, all humans are created with the right to life (Exod 20:13) and we are called to aid the least among us (Matt 25:40, Luke 9:48).

Both the born and the unborn are endowed by our Creator with an inalienable right to life, and that in all cases of crisis pregnancies, a solution should be sought which equally values the mother and unborn child and allows them both to live.

We should do all things for the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31).

Each of us should use whatever gift we have received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace (1 Pet 4:10). In serving others, we should do so with the strength God provides (1 Pet 4:11).

We are called to counsel with compassion, gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience (Col 3:12, 1 Pet 3:15-16) and always telling the truth (Col 3:9). We are to love one another as Jesus Christ loved us. This love is patient and kind, not insisting on its own way, not arrogant, not rude, but rejoicing in the truth (1 Cor 13:4-6).

We never recommend, facilitate, or refer for abortion or abortifacients. We never recommend, facilitate, or refer for contraceptives. Women should be informed of the abortifacient nature of contraceptives as applicable.

Unmarried women shall be taught the virtue of sexual purity. Married women shall be taught that (a) children are a gift of God, and (b) we should do all things for the glory of God, hence not engage in behavior designed to frustrate the will of God. Based on the preceding, natural family planning (NFP) is a suitable option only in circumstances in which an individual, in good conscience, believes that more glory will come to God with NFP than without.

We are called to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matt 4:19, Matt 28:19-20). In evangelization, we acknowledge that each client may be at a different point along his/her Christian spiritual journey and receive those whose faith is weak (Rom 14:1) without offending (1 Cor 10:32-33). We do so without passing judgment on disputable matters. However, we should always be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks the reason for the hope in salvation that we have (1 Pet 3:15-16).
